Executive Producer
Director

ANDREW YEX

A Chicago native who began his career directing sports and producing network news, Andrew spent the past 20 years as a producer and director on an array of network programs including: Big Brother, Mindfreak, Wife Swap, Who Wants to Marry my Dad, Guinness World Records Primetime, America's Got Talent and over 50 other cable series ranging from scripted comedy to long form documentaries.

In 2003, Andrew was invited to work with “National Lampoon” to run the production division of their new collegiate-based national network. He served as Co-Executive for the network’s six original programs during the 2003 season before starting Magic Hour in 2005, a company dedicated to mixing entertainment with narrative in order to promote socially relevant topics. While continuing to provide network content, in 2009, the Los Angeles Mayor’s office and City Council recognized Magic Hour’s work in documenting programs designed to save ‘at-risk’ youth.

A new venture, "One Hand Clapping' was started in 2010 and dedicated to bringing audiences one step closer to the media they desire by pushing the boundaries of steaming live video and new media while at the same time, relying on network level storytelling techniques and quality.
